I wanted to get a subscription the print edition of The Economist magazine, so i went to www.economist.com. Their website listed the price of $127. I called their 800 number to see if they offered a discount, but it seems none were available at the time. I am an avid reader of The Economist, but the price was way too steep for me in the current recession, so I shopped around looking for a better deal. I love the in depth articles that cover everything from macro economics, finance, and international politics. The page content is broken down by geographic region which is another huge plus. Also, the lack of advertisements is refreshing. That justifies the high price point. The content is well worth reading if you are into a top notch finance magazine.
