The only issues that I have with it is that they don't give good discount prices AND if you let the subscription nearly lapse and then get another subscription, they give you issues that are a month or two old at a minimum.
This has happened on more than one occasion."

Great cooking magazine.
"Used to do "Cook's Illustrated" but the new editor has taken it into the "highbrow" high-faluting type cookery, with ingredients that I have never heard of, or cannot buy in NW Montana without travelling 150 miles... so I went for Cook's Country and love it. More my style of cooking, dinner parties are not my idea of fun! "

Love Cook's Country
"I used to buy Cooks Illustrated but since they changed editors, it is now too high falluting for my taste, with recipes calling for ingredients that I would never buy and couldn't even if I wanted to in this part of the country, and is now pretty much a useless magazine for the average home cook. So I switched to Cook's Country and it is much more down to earth with great recipes and great information to make cooking easier and a joy. Thanks for the great prices on a great magazine."

Confusing
"I purchased 4 subscriptions at a very good price, but was wondering if the low sale price is the reason that my subscriptions all began with back issues instead of current issues and appears that it will end well before 12 months is up. For example I subscribed in December and they began within two weeks by sending me Oct/Nov or Nov/Dec issues. I imagine current customers were receiving their January issues by that time since magazines usually come weeks ahead of their designated month. I feel like the seller pawns off old issues in a flood at the beginning and then ends your subscription when you've received an appropriate number of issues. The issues themselves are very good, and perhaps the low price makes it acceptable."
